What's Your FQ?

F.Q. is an abbreviation for Functional Quotient.  In a nutshell, it is a measurement of ones quality of movement, based on neuromuscular integrity.  It assesses all regions of the body and their risk of injury while comparing function to optimum performance.

You see, Movement is the integration of three main systems in your body: Muscular System, Nervous System and Articular System.  Because of the way these are interconnected, a problem with any one system, will affect all three.  This creates a cascade of problems that begins with altered structural alignment and ends with movement dysfunction.

Our F.Q. Assessment is the FIRST system in the Chiropractic profession to objectively measure your dysfunction in the following organized method.

Six Regions Tested:
 • Neck/Shoulder
 • Lumbar/Pelvic/Hip
 • Elbows
 • Wrists
 • Knees
 • Ankles

Assessment evaluates the NeuroMuscularArticular integrity of 40 points within these regions and gives you a number, your F.Q., based on a percentage of Optimal Performance.  Compromised areas will be identified and measured.  These results are used to track your progress while under our care.

Once, you have reached an F.Q. of 100%, a customized functional rehabilitation protocol will be designed for you based on the results of a seperate Functional Movement Assessment.
